Tea Party Fun!
Taking their inspiration from their new classroom name tags, the children enjoyed a little English tea party in the nursery recently.
With each name tag displaying a different British icon like the London bus, the black taxi, a cup of tea, and scones with jam and cream, the children sparked their enthusiasm to plan a tea party. To make it special, we used a real porcelain tea set, giving the children a chance to handle it with care. This not only encouraged a sense of responsibility but also showed our trust in them. The activity beautifully ties into the EYFS curriculum, promoting communication and language, personal, social, and emotional development (PSED), and enhancing their understanding of the world. At Chelsea Nursery, we incorporate the city of London, its vibrant culture, and British values into our classroom environment, enriching the children's learning experiences.
